A petrified wedding in the forested valley of the Ohře river between Karlovy Vary and Loket is called Svatosske rocks. It can be approached by a bike or by foot, there is a rope bridge over the river and a restaurant directly at the rocks.

Krasno sight tower is one of the most admirable ones in the country. The tower is interesting with it’s spiral stairway leading on the sides of the actual 25 meters high tower. From the top you can see the hills of Krusne Hory, Doupovske Vrchy, Tepelska Highland and the highest peaks of Slavkovsky forest.

Andělská hora

Ruins of a gothical castle built in late 14th century by the lords of Osek on the steep rocks. In 1635 was the castle burned down by Swedish soldiers, reconstructed and inhabited until early 18th century. In the village of the same name is the former Holy Trinity Chapel with a symbolical triangle plan.

Museum – Stole No. 1 Jachymov
The Jachymov Mining Museum is located in Stole No. 1. The 260 m long shaft resembles not only the way of mining minerals in the last century, but also the suffering of political prisoners who were forced to work in this and similar galleries.

The historic Jeroným Mine is located in the Sokolov District, the Rovná Cat. In the past, it belonged to the cadastral territory of the no longer existing royal mining town of Čistá.
